Hi !

THE FIRST 21 HOURS IN MY NEW HOME.

I did not sleep in the car on the drive back. I was not scared at all but I was just

looking around trying to figure out where I was going.

Everything was going well until I was put in my crate at 11:15 beside Mom's bed.

She kept coming in and out of the room until midnight. Boy I didn’t know how         loud I could cry.

As soon as Mom sat on the side of her bed I was fine and went right to sleep.

At 4:30 AM Mom went to the bathroom and I cried for 10 seconds. (Mom never went back to sleep)

but I sure did. At 9 AM she put on the radio and I wanted out of my crate to play.

I cried a lot and finally got my own way but she would not let me on the bed.

Today has been great. I know my way around but everywhere Mom walks I am right behind her.

She stepped on my paw this morning but I was O.K. If I cannot see Mom for one minute I cry.

I have had many accidents on the rugs but I did piddle on the peppers twice.        That sure made her happy.

I love my new toys but I will not go in the bed you made for me. I like lying on the couch in an old T-shirt

beside Mom where I have been most of the day. If she won't pick me up I sure cry but I stop after a few

minutes and lye by her feet. I have not had much food or water.

The balcony is 100% safe. Jim did a great job but I don't like it out there yet.

The instant bonding I had for my Mom was incredible . Will be in touch in a day or two. Love

 Koby? - Cole?

                    Hi Marian

She is a sweet, little thing and we are doing everything for her comfort.  She is a quick learner and she now walks on a leash, well for short distances!!!  She is not destructive at all and has a very nice temperament.  She pretty well sleeps through the night in her large crate.  I ordered that bag from Winchester, it is worth it.

Yes, I can imagine that you miss her but at least you know that she could not have a better home.  I will keep you posted of her progress

Just a little update on Bella.  She is a wonderful little dog and I love her so much.  She has fit in to our household so rapidly.  She loves her walks along the river and enjoys sniffing around our backyard.  She is not destructive and needs very little correction.  Bella also sleeps throughout the night and she never wakes me up during the night.  We had her trimmed a couple of weeks ago and she has pretty well stayed the same colour except the brown around her eyes has greyed a bit.  She is a good little eater and she loves a few tablespoons of the wet, canned food every day in addition to her dry kibble.

She had her first lick of a McDonald ice cream cone a few nights ago, and she loves it!  So you can see that we are having a great time with Bouncing Bella and have no regrets.  Thank you so much to Mr. Mojo, Jewels, yourself and your husband.  Great job!

Hello Marian
We want to thank you for again for all the good care and kindness you have given us especially Titi
Titi slept in here little bed that you made for her beside my mom in the car all the way home
When she got home she played with her new toys and now she has taken her spot right beside my mom on the couch with a little help up from mom of course.
Last night my brother came by with his standard poodle its was so funny Titi looked at him and growled ran under the kitchen table to one of her many toys and proceeded to play , it was as if she was telling Izzy ( the dog ) Hey this is my home what are you doing here
Today the neighbors have come by to say hello and she puts on quite the show just so friendly and ready to greet people with her little tail going a mile a minute
Marian mom and I wish you and your husband a wonderful and safe trip out west
thank you so very much

Coco went to the boat on the weekend and met many two and four legged
friends. Everyone thought he was so cute. He went for a ride from our
marina (at Ivy Lea bridge ) to Ganonoque and seemed to love it. We tried to
get some photos but its hard to get him to stay still long enough.

Coco had a great weekend at the boat. We anchored out all day on Sat, Sun
and Mon. Coco made trips to an island on a seadoo and in a dinghy to relieve
himself. My sister, her husband and their dog  were with us and they got
along fine. We are really enjoying him.

                Hi Marian:

Sisco (is what I'm calling him), (what do you think?). However, he did ok. He seems to prefer Reese's food so I've had to come up with some ideas on how to feed him. He had a loose bowel movement at 5:30, this am, all over the bedroom carpet, just after I'd had him out - I think is was all the excitement and Reese's food.

So, I went to the barn and got the kennel I used for Reese, now when I feed him I put him in his kennel. I'm thinking about trying him in there tonight but every time I put him in there and leave, he howls, LOL! We'll see.

Then, we went to the nursing home where I work and I took him around and showed him to some of the elderly people. They love kids and pets. He was a huge hit! He is such a mellow puppy! We spent the day together, riding in the SUV, touring the old folks home and going to the dollar store. Tonight, we went out and played with Reese in the yard. He had a very good day. We'll see what tonight brings. If he doesn't like the kennel at night (Reese's bed is right beside it) then I have no problem bringing him upstairs to bed. He's no problem at all. What an angel! I'm so happy with him!

Thanks so much for everything,

We had a great day! Sisco, Reese and I went out into the big field behind the house for a walk today. The grass was so tall (really it wasn't that tall, but to him it must have been, lol), he was hopping over it just like a little rabbit, it was soooooo cute!!!! He's as smart as a whip, he's already fetching sticks( after watching Reese), sitting most times, he's amazing, just love him!

Hi Marian,

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

We had a fun time as it was so warm and Dash got to spend lots of time outdoors with us.

As you can see from the picture,

Dash also had a little adventure on Sunday when we took him to our local pumpkin farm.

He really enjoyed sniffing all the pumpkins and even had his first wagon ride.

He wasn't too fond of the two farm dogs (both golden Labs) but Ryan picked him up

and they didn't respond to his cute little growls so it was all right.

Mark has put chicken wire all around the outside of our fence and near the shed

and edge of our deck so now our backyard is "Dash proof" and he can go out there

without us having to worry about him getting under the fence or stuck behind our shed.

Anyway, it's going well and we just wanted to thank you again for bringing this great

little guy into our lives.

Take care and we'll write soon-Lisa, Mark, Ryan and Tyler.

Hi Marian

Just wanted to let you know how well little Rocco is doing.  We had our first vet visit yesterday, and all is well.  He has gained 1 1lb. since his last visit!  He has the sweetest personality, is very quiet, even when he gets excited and wants to play.  He follows me everywhere, and cries when he is in a room by himself, although this is improving as he gains confidence in his new home.  He loves to go for walks, and he does amazing on the leash.  I've never owned a poodle before, and I am amazed at how smart they are.  He's not too fond of his crate, but he'll need to be in there when I go out.

Considering that Rocco was chosen from a photo, we are very lucky to have such a good dog.  I just had a feeling when I saw that picture of him that he'd be a good boy.
Happy New Year!!!

Lisa
